I can't believe another year has gone by so fast! 2009 was a year of opportunities, and while I'm sure I didn't grab every single opportunity given to me, I like to think that I took advantage of some of them and each opportunity I took, shaped me up for the person I'm going to be in 2010.

I'm harbouring mixed emotions towards the big two-oh-one-oh, or twenty ten as I like to call it. I'm scared, terrified for year 11, scared that I'm not going to live up to the expectations my parents want. I'm excited for the various activities I have planned, my subjects and if I'm going to be honest, I'm worried. Worried that everything won't turn out the way I want it to in 2010. Worried that something bad's going to happen that'll change my mindset. Mix all those emotions together, and you get me. A rather short, dark-haired walking contradiction. But putting all those things aside (for now), I feel that twenty-ten is going to be awesome. The 'tensies' decade is going to be great. :)

Hmmmm surprisingly, I've actually been quite busy lately. On the 1st, we had a family friends gathering at my house. Saw the usual people, it was good fun. :) Played wii, as always and a rather long game of pictionary. I actually don't mind pictionary now. Used to dislike it, but it's not as bad as I thought ;) Played cluedo but that was an utter fail. :P And we ended the day with an episode of Gossip Girl and a few episodes of The Big Bang Theory. All in all, it was a good day.

On the 2nd, I saw Ina and Rachael in Mornington. That was fun. ;) And I'm not telling what we got up to. :p It's rather embarassing, really.

Yesterday, it was TK & Lynn's family's housewarming party! The house looked amazing with all the different colours! I met some of Lynn's friends (they're all really nice, Lynn :)) and I had a glimpse of some of TK's friends but I didn't talk to them much, and I saw the usual people like Sai, Sophie, Eric, Maureen (people who came to my house on the 1st as well). It was a good day and I had alot of fun. :D

Today, I have nothing planned, but because to me it's the first day of the year that I'm actually free, I'm going to "start" the year by cleaning my room! I'm putting all my stuff into random bags first, and when I finally find the time to buy storage boxes from either Kikki.K or Smiggle, I'll dump my stuff from plastic bags, to nice, neat storage boxes. :D Soon enough, my room will be neat and tidy. The hard part of it all, is keeping the room neat and tidy. I don't know how I manage to do it, but the desk gets messy pretty much an hour after I clean it. :| Oh well. I WILL KEEP IT CLEAN. A clean study space is exactly what I need for twenty-ten. :)
