So if your life flashed before you, what would you wish you would've done?
We only got 86 400 seconds in a day, to turn it all around or throw it all away, we gotta tell 'em that we love 'em, while we got the chance to say, gotta live like we're dying.
I'm really liking Kris Allen's song, Live Like We're Dying. :) It's so catchy and the lyrics are quite nice and so completely true. Why waste the time we have when we know anything can happen? Anyways, I can change my earrings by myself now! Everyone should be proud :D This week has been awesome so far.
Sunday - 27th of December I went on Catherine's boat for the very first time! Really really upset I don't have any photos. :( I didn't bring a camera. Well, actually, I can't find my compact camera. :( And I was scared that something would happen to my DSLR. So yes, no photos, I'm afraid. I'll make sure to find my compact camera before the next time and I'll get plenty of photos. :) Anyways, it was amazing. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience that you don't get in many places, thank god for Australia and the resources they have! We went down Mount Martha, Portsea way. The original plan was to head all the way down to Portsea, but it started to get slightly windy and the weather was getting worse and so we headed back once we reached Rye. The ride back to Frankston was AWESOME. No kidding. It was bumpy and slightly rough and I was literally bouncing in my seat. It hurt but it was completely worth it. Pretty sure it was the best roller-coaster I've ever been on! Okay so perhaps that was a slight exaggeration, but it's close. :) After the boat ride, we dropped my mum off at home (oh, yeah, my mum came on the boat as well) and I went to Catherine's house for a couple of hours. We played wii for the whole time, actually. ;) At the end we were completely addicted to Mario Kart. It was quite funny, actually. Hahaha. Overall, it was a brilliant day.
Monday - 28th of December I went to Chadstone with Ina and her family! Didn't buy much, only a pair of adorable star-shaped earrings from Swarovski. I love, love, love them! <3>finally took out my stud earrings, I've been obsessed with buying new pairs of earrings. So every time I go shopping, I'm always looking for earrings. It's fun. :D Hahah Ina and I went to the new expensive part of Chadstone. Walked into Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co and Chanel. Everything about those shops were mind-blowing... especially the prices. Burberry is amazing as usual, the trenchcoats are to die for. Pity they didn't have the trenchcoat I wanted. Would've loved to see it close up! The staff at Louis Vuitton were so nice! Especially this lady, she showed us everything we wanted to see, and gave us a lot of her time. We were really surprised because we heard that the staff in these luxury brands were all snobby, so that was a refreshing change! Tiffany & Co has gorgeous jewellery. I'm still dying to get the charm bracelet and I saw the most adorable pair of bow earrings. Looks like it's time to save up! Ahhh last but certainly not least, Chanel. Chanel has gorgeous bags, yes, but I'm not really a fan of Chanel to be honest. Ina loves Chanel so it was her idea to go in. The bag that she wants was $4000. Her reaction was pretty funny. Actually, we both kinda just stared at each other, before ditching the bag and walking out of the shop quickly.
Today - 29th of December Okay, so today wasn't as exciting as the others, but in a way it was. :) I spent the first half of the day with Catherine. She came over and we did maths homework. There were a few distractions but we managed to finish over half of the homework. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's actually a pretty big accomplishment if you knew how much we actually had to do! It's holidays for crying out loud. :( We spent about 2 and a half hours on maths homework, before deciding to stop. We played Sims 3 for the rest of the time... obviously we're cool. ;) After Catherine went home, mum picked me up and we went to get my year 11 books! :D I was actually very excited while getting my schoolbooks. I felt so accomplished getting the books & carrying the bags of books from the shop to my car. :) After that, I had to go for my doctor's appointment. :( My last dose for the cervical cancer vaccine. I was so scared but in the end it was okay. I'm just so glad I don't have to get injections for awhile now! :D Right now, I'm finishing off the day by watching Gossip Girl, and I can't think of a better to end the day. :)
Anyways, 3 days until the new year! I'm psyched and I can't wait for what life has in store for me. Just remember this: When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. :D
