camp update.
Hey!
Sorry i haven't been blogging in so long. =(
Just came back from camp at the Murray River.
CAMP WAS SO GAY

Yea, you get the picture.
Well, lemme tell you what we did.
Monday
Got dropped off at school at 8am; and then all the year 8s boarded the bus to go to the Murray River. It was a 5 hour trip. Very; very. very sickening cuz we couldn't bring phones or ipods. =(
but then we got to watch a movie called Cool Runnings; but we never got to watch the ending cuz we arrived to the Murray River before the movie ended. Sadly. After we reached to the Murray River, we had to change our travelling bags into the bags provided for us, then we got into our groups and started to get to know our camp leader and everything. I actually had 2 group leaders, Mark and Keiran. haha. But Keiran only came on Thursday cuz Mark found out his grandma died, and the funeral was on Friday, so Keiran came to take over. =( Well, on Monday, we had to go for a walk to our camp site but in the end we got lost so the OEG (Outdoor Education Group) people had to drive up to where we were stuck and save us. -_- Yeah, after that, we got assigned to our shifts and stuff. Kirsten; Karli and I were the people on camp duty... camp duty is where we get to dig the toilet... yes, we had to go to the toilet in a hole. Don't even ask how it smelled.
Tuesday
Umm, well, we started canoeing; got off at a bad start. lol. I'm pro at steering. =P Kirsten was my canoe partner. We made a good team. :D Umm; we didnt reach our destination, so we stopped at a random beach to sleep in. haha. Yea; nothing interesting really. Karli came into our tent and we started talking about random things... don't even ask about what we were talking about. lol.
Wednesday
Woke up at like 6am just to get an early start at canoeing. haha. Today; Kirsten, Karli and I were on cooking duty, lol. We did wraps for lunch and for dinner we made fried noodles. lol. but the best was dessert. Lemon Balls. YUMMY! haha. Today was the day i played Chubbie Bubbies with Kirsten. lol. We played it with marshmallows (Where she got 7 in her mouth, and i got 6) then we played it with nuts (Which we both got 100 in our mouth) and oreo biscuits (Not sure how many we managed to get. lol. It started to melt in our mouth. -_-)
Thursday
Woke up at 6 again; just to get an early start at canoeing AGAIN. So annoying how we kept waking up at like 6. WAY TOO EARLY DUDEE. Anyways, half way thru canoeing, Mark told us that he had to leave the group cuz he had to go back home for the funeral, so we met Kieran at the beach we were having lunch at. haha. Before we left the beach, Kieran drew this obstacle course on the sand, and we played it. it was damn fun. :D WE BEAT KIERAN'S GROUP. YAY! lol. finally, we managed to reach our destination (It changes everyday) and we did our usual, pitched up our tents, made dinner, talked in our tent. yea, you get the picture. lol.
Friday
LAST DAY! Everyone was so excited. haha. Cuz we were all sick of not having showers and proper toilets. lol. Today; had to wake up at 5.45. HOW SICKENING!? Just because we had to reach the stupid beach at 8am. >=( In the end we arrived the beach at like 8.15 anyways. -_- well, at that last beach, i saw all my friends in other groups, talked a little then had to clean the canoes, and unpack bags and stuff. haha. After that, we did some activities like raft building and some quiz about the Murray River. Raft Building was bad, i hated raft building, haha. We built the raft, but my whole group couldn't get on it. -_- The quiz; i didn't know half the answers. lol. My group just gave random answers. lol. then after that, there was the sing and dance that each group had to do, and my group didn't have anything, so when it was our turn, the person was like "Group 5" and i was like "NO, ITS GROUP 4!" and he's like "Is it group 5 or group 4?" and i'm like "its group 4!!!!" and so group 4 went up and performed. lol. Sad, i know. I think my group was the only group that didnt have anything prepared. =( Kirsten and I felt bad. lol. Then we waited for our bus to come and then we boarded the bus and watched movies like She's the Man and Eight Below. Eight Below is so damn sad!!!! I don't like that movie, i was crying. =( I love she's the man though, haha. Arrived back at school, and saw my mum. Tried to give her a hug but she stopped me, because of her arm. haha. For all those who haven't heard. My mum broke her wrist. =( Well, thats the end of my blogpost about camp. hahaha.
